Duquesne University I am currently a first year student at Duquesne University of the Holy Ghost, located in Pittsburgh, PA. I am a music performance major in the Mary Pappert School of Music. Many of the top orchestral musicians from the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra are on the Duquesne faculty.
I am currently studying with Murray Crewe at Duquesne University. Murray is the bass trombonist with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Murray is also a member of the Pittsburgh Symphony Brass. Their CD, "Art of the Fugue" is currently up for a grammy. Murray is also the conductor of the Duquesne University Trombone Choir. The trombone choir was established in 1952 by Professor Emeritus Matthew "Matty" Shiner. It is the second oldest university trombone choir in existence. The ensemble has been featured in performances at the Mid-East Band Clinic and Pennsylvania Music Educators Conference and has recorded three albums. Murray Crewe
